I agree with you. If you publish anywhere else I would like very much to read it. I’m an 84 year old widow who has dedicated my life to the Church. I am around young adults all the time and I can see how they are so trapped in this artificial world and have lost so much of true culture. I try to lift them up to what really matters. My lawyer was the defendant attorney against a big prosecuting firm with six prosecuting lawyers taking turns presenting their case. AI is a tool. It will be abused and it will displace workers, but it will also aid those without the resources to compete against entrenched elite associations. Young wannabes have a chance to get a foot in the door of opportunity.
For me, the music business has significant structural and practical downfalls. The rewards are extremely uneven for independent music artists. Only a tiny percentage of singer/songwriters capture the vast majority of streams and revenue. It is hard to sustain a career without spending huge amounts of money on equipment, advertising, and photography. AI cuts down my expenses.
You illustrated control of AI utility for efficiency of productivity output. For you it is work.
If I comprehend correctly, to Mr Primeau AI assisted works minimize the time and energy he put into his. It devalues him; so the source of his anger. For him, it is personal.
